What are the aims of Artistop?
The main aim is to bring young talent together with businesses and commissions,
giving like-minded individuals from all artistic backgrounds a starting chance
in the industry.

2003.
How can I appear on Artistop?
Refer to the Submit Your Work Section.
How are the artists chosen?
Predominantly from design shows, university degree shows and direct contact
from artists.
How much does it cost?

How long can I stay on the site?
Initially for 2 years and then reviewed on an annual basis.
How many works can I exhibit?
Up to 10 images at one time.
How often can these be changed and how do
I do this?
Every 6 months if required, all details on changing images are in the General
Information Pack.
How do people contact me for commissions and/or
work placements etc?
Through the artist section of the Artistop site, there is a 'Contact Artist'
button. Artistop then forward the details on to the artist. You can also use
the Contact Artist Page
Do I pay commission to Artistop when I receive
commissions?
The artist
retains commission rights, but we receive 5% of any commisions placed through the site.
Can I work for Agents whilst on your site?
Yes. We do not impose any
restrictions on the artist.
Can I just exhibit my works even if I do not
wish to sell or take commissions?
Yes. The website can be used
as an online showcase for your works.
I am a photographer/animator etc – can
I come on the site?
Yes. Artists from all backgrounds will
be considered.
Can I use the digital representations (caricatures)
of the artists for my own purposes, eg my business
cards?
Yes. The copyright to these caricatures
is owned by Artistop Limited, but assigned to the individual
artist to use however they wish as part of the membership
fee.
Do I retain copyright to my work?
Whilst Artistop retains the copyright to the site the individual artist retains
the copyright to their own work displayed on the site. |
